i think in this movie it makes more sense than in 1 and 2. eddie knows that he loves MJ and he really hates peter. plus peter dences with gwen so that makes eddie only more angry.

How didn't it make sense to you in Spider-Man 2? Harry told Ock that Peter knows how to contact Spider-Man. When Ock finds Peter, MJ is with him. Ock figures what better motivation for Peter to get in touch with Spider-Man is by taking Peter's girlfriend.

In the first one, Harry told his father that MJ loves Peter and Norman knows Peter is Spider-Man.

As far as Sandman goes, I can't imagine it'd be in his character to take MJ/Gwen. From what we've seen, he seems like the guy who's just trying to get money for his family and avoid any trouble. Unless Spider-Man finally pushes him over the edge.

True, I either think that its at the consturction site or Spider-Man Day, but I'm leaning toward Spider-Man Day at the moment because she's wearing the same outfit as she was there and she's falling during the daytime. But I still think its possible that shot is at the construction site because of the crane.
