Ditto, IF they stop here, i will accept it... BUT Nicole Kassel seemingly wanted to continue...
As much as I want to see blue Angels, not sure where they could really go from here as far as doing something compelling with it.
Yeah, I don't see HBO being completely against something if one the other writers came to them with an idea.
That or a new creator like Craig Mazin, could have ideas on his own... i think it could be interesting to have top creators give their own take on this universe, in an anthology serie like said earlier...
If they renew the show for a second season, with or without Lindelof, I hope they tell a completely different story. Make it an anthology like True Detective.
Angela and Will's story was beautiful and they don't have to continue it. But they can tell new stories with new characters.
They could focus on women, for instance. Considering how women was and is treated in comicbooks, there's an idea. Just look at how both Silks were treated in the books: over sexualized, defined by men, not as well developed as the male characters, etc...
Just a thought.
I would have loved to see the show's version of Comedian and Nite Owl.
Yeah, their story was great. No harm in moving onto other stories though.
Excuse me??? I had no idea that mask wasn’t legit. This is devastating tbh.
Anyone else here pick up the Watchmen Companion book DC just put out? The show really put me in the mood for it, and I’ve only flipped through it so far, but it’s really an interesting read. I just wish I was more of an RPG person, that would add an extra layer of enjoyment for me.
I hadn't heard about it but it looks really interesting. I'm about to read Doomsday Clock for the first time (been waiting on the trade), but before that I'm going to reread Watchmen for the first time in a long time. I'm not a rabid fan, but it made a heck of an impact on me when it first came out. Looking at the DC website the companion looks to have some really cool content;
I'd ask where Veidt is, but he's either in prison or escaped from prison and working on a cure.
Only just got round to binging Watchmen and wow, what a show. Just brilliant.
The final 4 eps were all great, but “This Extraordinary Being” is one of the best episodes of any TV show I’ve ever seen.
Bought the graphic novel two hours ago at Barnes and Noble and the show at Walmart last week.
Nice! I just ordered the Best Buy steelbook version myself.
Sorry, is that a graphic novel based on the show, or the Moore/Gibbons original?
