So yeah, I had a minor heart attack when I first haerd about it, but it's the remake of a 1986 film called Heat, which starred Burt Reynolds.

Statham and Simon West are becoming the new Charles Bronson and Michael Winner, which I highly approve of.

It's a shame because Brian De Palma was originally supposed to direct both Statham's Parker and this. Which is weird, but damn it, I want my De Palma/Statham film.
