for one how in the hell is Voldermort number one
they cant rank Joker he didnt even show up yet and from all we've heard Joker dominats all cept for maybe Vader

Szell and Annie Wilkes belong higher on the list, Darth Vader and Hannibal belong at the top, and Ralph Fiennes in Schindler's List is more memorable villain than anyone besides them (except maybe Norman Bates, another glaring oversight).

It's true, Scar was a sadistic mothaf'er. But I think this list is Ok. I can see Voldemorte being on it, he IS part of the biggest book series probably is history. Not number 1 though, I agree. I've got no problems with Joker on the list, he deserves it. It'd be nice for them to wait until the movie got released though... I hope they've at least seen it.

Heath's joker might as well be number one. Also I think Anton Chigurh should be atleast number four. He was pretty scary in No Country For Old Men...if anyone has seen that movie.

We're talking all-time here... There are more brilliant villains besides the ones in movies from 2000-2008. I do think The Joker is a better villain than Hannibal Lecter. If only for the preparation by the amazing Heath Ledger. Anthony Hopkins doesn't believe in getting 'inside' the character. He once said it would make him insane. Heath became the Joker and he deserves an Oscar. I wish we could hand it to him.
