Eurogamer had an interview with Tameem Antoniades, co-founder of Ninja Theory. NT is currently working on Heavenly Sword, their first exclusive game for the PS3.
Tameem confirms the game is on track for a September release, and is 90% complete right now. He also says the weapons and combat engine were balanced using multiplayer code. While multiplayer will not be in the initial release, there's a good chance they will spruce up this code for a multiplayer downloadable pack at some point.
The engine, he claims is only "first generation", and the PS3 still has "a lot to give".
