Anyone else feel that the TV spots going on do not fully show the artistic value and visual styles that we saw in the trailers? When I saw the first trailer for Hellboy 2 back during Iron Man, my wife was like "oh man, what IS THIS, we have to go see it!" and the Pan's labrynth type look really struck an accord.

However, now we see the new commercials and it doesn't show any of the badass looking villians, it just shows hellboy making silly comments like "ya I know I'm ugly" and stuff like that.

In my opinion, they should be teasing people with the artistic aspects and then doing a reveal of, "oh yeah, you like that, IT'S HELLBOY!" and people would be amazed.

Ah well, maybe the next TV spots will be better.

Other than seeing the trailers online, i really havent seen anything for this movie anywhere.

There's one, or maybe two, TV spots, each about 10 seconds, mostly just showing hellboy and hellboy making a comment, but not showing that creepy fallen-angel type dude or the other crazy looking things.

If the marketing helps this movie make money, i dont care how they do it.
