Hellboy: the sneaky devil

Hellboy 2 has not been getting any attention this summer with the releases of Indiana Jones, Iron Man, and of course The Dark Knight. And its most likely not gonna do well in the box office with The Dark Knight coming out a week afterwards. But with what i have seen so far, and watching Del Toro mature as a screenwriter the past few years with Pans Labyrinth and seeing his production company expand with the Orphanage and now collaborating with Jackson in the Hobbit, I feel like Hellboy 2 is gonna sneak up on us and bite us right on the ass as being the most underated movie of the summer. I really feel like it has the potential of being the best, if not at least the 3rd best movie of the summer behind batman and ironman. The trailers look promising, the imagination of the scenery looks more beautiful then ever and even the characters look well more constructed then the last movie. Does this have the potential of being the best movie of the summer? what do u guys think?

If not for the Dark Knight and Indy, HBII would undoubtedly be my most anticipated movie of this year, i think it will be much better than IM, which was good but not great.

If HBII opens with a fair amount on its first weekend, say $50-55 million, then it can easily recuperate its budget back domestically, even with TDK opening a week after. Lets hope thats what happens.
