(Help) Alternative theme to improve readability for my tired eyes

Hi! I have been surfing this forum, and it’s been very enjoyable. However, my eyes are not functioning at 100%.

I would like to ask the admins if it is possible to set up a dark mode feature or another theme, even if it's the basic phpBB forum theme. My eyes were much better in the past, and today, with this color palette, I cannot distinguish new posts/messages.

The short answer is no, but there is an option. If you're using a computer download an extension for your browser called Dark Reader. This will make it so all your websites are in dark mode. If you're on a phone, Edge, Firefox, Brave, and Opera have extension support for the same one.

Just to chime in, personally speaking - I'm the opposite. My eyes don't like dark mode, especially when reading texts. So I never use dark mode anywhere.

After my post, I immediately tried to find a temporary solution, which I found that one you mentioned.

However, the big problem resides here

I can imagine your pain. Those were the days when most phpBB forums had several pre-installed themes to suit various tastes.
