help connecting ps3 to another router?

The wireless for my ps3 no longer works. Since my router is on another floor of my home, I'm trying to see if its possible to get a second router or something to pick up the signal and then plug that into my ps3 with an Ethernet cable. I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to stuff like that....any ideas?

You might be better off with something like homeplugs.

Basically turn your power sockets in your home into a network so you can plug in your router to your wall and have the outlet downstairs next to your ps3

Any reason why your wireless is no longer working on your ps3? you 100% your settings match up to your router?
