Help me with a movie!

I just flashbacked to a long time ago and I was watching this VERRYY dark movie. Dark in tone and lighting. It was in the 2000's and didnt look old and could've been from the 1990's. It had this seen where people just starting to float into mid air. I think it mightve been a horror movie because it was pretty damn scary. It was somehow connected to like Satan or something too. Please help with this!

everything just began to float into the air not just the people. I dont know of any horror films that have done that......but i havent seen that many horror films.

I wish. It had to have come before 2002 because I remember playing with my Batcycle which came out then. I was reeeally young so I dont remember anything really. Its pretty much a lost cause haha.

My first thought was Dark City too.

If it is Dark City, I think the reason the OP thinks satan was in it is because some of the dark city peeps kind of look like the hellraiser peeps. lol

Dark City is a really good movie. Kiefer is brilliant in it.

I bought Dark City and LOVED it! Brlliant Sci-Fi! But the movie I'm thinking of was more grounded in reality with not as big of a budget I'm thinking. Oh well.
