help opening a rar file

I have this file which is in .rar format. There are two files and and you can't open one without the other. I know there is a way to open them together but I can't remember how. Any help would be much appreciated.

.rar is just a compressed file, like .zip

Use WinRar to open it and extract what's inside.

I know that but the one file is in two parts, a file for each part, and it will open unless you open the second one with it which I can't remember how to do

Oh. If the file has been split into two .rar archives, then just right-click the first and extract to the desired location. It will automatically decompress and pull the rest of the data from the second .rar files.

I just generally open all the RARS and extract them to the same folder.
