help wanted- comic artist

hey all you boppers out there im currently working on a comic and need some ideas for a character
his name is core who is basicly a moving nucular core and he has holes to vent out steam and all sorts of places to shoot things and i have 2 ideas here they are

alright there he is as you might be able to tell when i was drawing him i was thinking "iron man"
this one kinda looks like that fat kid every one remembers who always got out in dodgeball.
so as you can see i need help. so.... HELP!

and by the way he doesn't have to be a robot-ish thing he can be human too but i still want him big

Well, if you want to get rid of the fat kid thing, (And if you are a really bad artist) you should make a big rectangle for his torso and a triangular-like shape that is connected to the torso and onto his legs.

Then IF you want, you can "smoothen" the corners of his two body shapes.

Here, I was bored so drew something real quick on paint to show you what I mean:

It's also a good Idea to add a bit of extra parts such as extra armor (But don't put too much) Hope this helps too
