Help! Winantivirus Pop-Ups!

Ok! Googling my problems didn't help! So here's hoping someone on here is awesome and can help me. I'm Useless with ridding myself of Virus problems. Ok, on my toolbar down the bottom is a yellow triangle with a black exclamation mark in it with a bubble that pops up and says

Your Computer is Infected!

Windows has detected a virus...Blah blah blah!

It is recommended that you download..blah blah blah

Click here to protect your computer from spyware!

and I click there and it takes me to a "Has your computer been running slowly" site and then tells me to download Winantivirus 2007 Pro or something.

Googling has told me at least that this program is bad so I have not downloaded it but these popups are getting on my willies. There's also an Windows Security Alert thing that pops up randomly that asks me to download it.

I've run Spybot Search & Destroy and it doesn't seem to be getting rid of it. Is there anyone that can help me?

I actually had the same problem and ended up deleting programs and then doing a system restore. I got rid of it through the sytem restore.
