I had a DLink for a while that ran really well but died on me quickly. I've been using a Linksys ever since with 0 problems.

I've used Linksys and D-Link routers and this is the one that I'm currently using and it's great. Going cheap on a router is a bad idea, the cheap ones will be lucky to last you 6 months. :shakes fist at crappy D-link router on shelf:

 

It isn't on the XBOX compatibility list, so I wouldn't get it.

 

There are a bunch of products not on that list that still work really well though. Not that I recommend looking for a product that ISN'T on the list.

 

Well...ya know...there's that and the fact that I've never heard of Ativa and the thought of a $35 wireless router scares the **** out of me.

 

If I ever have to buy a router again, It would be an Xbox Live "compatible" one so I don't have to go through the horror of changing my NAT settings ever again
