Maybe it's just his personality, but in some of his interviews he acts real stuck and has the attitude like he's the greatest thing since sliced bread. You may not want to be there to answer the same questions, but at least try to act like you want to be there. His acting skills aren't that good though, so he has no choice, but to be somewhat of a jerk instead of just putting on a face and getting through it. If he has this entitled attitude going forward and let's say him and Affleck clash a recasting may be possible.

I have noticed the exact opposite. He's extremely personable and polite and humble in interviews. I would go so far as to say too polite and too nice. It can come across as faux earnestness. But he answers everything very very seriously in interviews.

The only consistent negative thing that I've seen people say about him is that he is boring and has no personality. I think that's a load of BS, but whatever.

He needs a good interviewer to draw him out. Otherwise his answers can be colorless. He came across as slightly rehearsed in his MOS promo tour, I would like a bit more color, bit more candor as to what he REALLY thinks about the whole thing.

Bomer looks very frail for some reason. He should put on weight methinks, all over. His face looks really gaunt and make him looks weak. He should fill out and then he might look stronger.

I´ve seen Star Trek into Darkness and it's awesome, beautiful (spok, the captain, the villain.. the best oh karl urban was great also) and way superior to Transformers 10000 times.. but I have to disagree to those who said STID is better than MOS.. first; people know about the characters (no comparisson) on STID already explained, on the other hand MOS was a new start.. second; ST fans can call it the better but I find it great but not as much as many people claimed to be.. the third act was pretty poor IMO (stID).. vfx were great on taking space ships.. has emotional charges (not as high as on MOS), talking about Sci Fi I would call STID the 2nd best movie of the summer after MOS... far far better from the rest....
P.S. can someone figure the villain actor from this movie to be Brainiac in, maybe WF or MOS3 or JL maybe... great talent from the guy..
Oh I almost forgot the blonde girl was PRETTY HOT AND SEXY WITH UNDERWEAR =)

Wow, I think Gina Carano is proper HOT. Each to their own though - I don't think she has the same 'classic' good looks as Cavill but there's definitely something about her.... I mean come on!

I really don't think she should be Wonder Woman though, having said that... I just don't think she looks right for the part, though I think she could be pretty good in the role in terms of physicality. It's hot how she could probably kick my ass no problem - and I didn't think I would ever think that about a woman! Maybe Cavill likes having a woman he can throw around without worrying about hurting lol

Also disagree with the OP about Cavill being stuck up. If anything it's the opposite... and yeah agree with Slumcat that he needs a good interviewer to bring him out, I think he's probably quite reserved by nature, at least initially, and also I really don't think he likes doing press, so he tends to stick to his prepared answers unless an interviewer is good and can get more out of him. Though my sister's friend was an extra on the Tudors in series 1 and 2 and had some very funny stories about him, so maybe he's just reserved in a professional sense...??

Also, we know how seriously he took the role of Superman and everything that went with it, so not sure how much he loved the questions that just took this piss like, 'Omggggg you're so hot, did you wear anything under your Supersuit??!!' or 'Is your Super-bulge real?? Or did you stuff it?' That particular interview did make me laugh though, the way Cavill just shot him down and walked off t:

Oh, re Gina Carano again, if anyone wanted a woman's interpretation of those photos (er......) my gf says judging by the pics they're not back together because a) he wouldn't have had time to rekindle the relationship and b) the pics are too 'flirty' to be them back together properly. Yeah, I dunno. But according to her (the GOSPEL! ) it's more a 'friendly' hookup. Which you wouldn't really say no to, would you?!

Well they have cast Cavill and Affleck in their JLA roles, so they are definitely not aiming for great acting skills it seems. Carano fits the bill just fine.

Yeah Cavill seemed offended. If I had been asked that, I would have burst into laughter. Its too ridiculous to take offense at. But Cavill answers every question seriously!

Yeah he often does, it’s friggin’ hilarious!

I dunno, I’ve seen quite a few interviews where they asked about his 'bulge', maybe he just got sick of it… either that or he’s exceptionally proud of his super-d*** and takes real offence at anyone suggesting that not every ounce of him is Kryptonian engineered perfection.

He’s one of those actors where their real personality is a bit of an enigma. I mean he comes across as polite and reserved and often serious but I’ve seen enough glimpses of another side, and heard personal accounts from people who know him, which contradict that a lot. I think he could be one of those guys who just take a while to let their guard down and to really get to know them.

All those fan encounters from the summer where he’s totally wasted in most of them are hilarious. Not to mention that video someone posted recently with all those rugby dudes and he goes off in their coach. Dude needs to curb his drinking! Although I hope he doesn’t, the fact that he goes out and gets pissed a lot is funny to me. Makes him seem more like someone you could go for a pint or ten with, and then challenge to a push up contest. And win, obviously
