Yeah Cavill seemed offended. If I had been asked that, I would have burst into laughter. Its too ridiculous to take offense at. But Cavill answers every question seriously!

I think it's the whole mild mannered English thing. I'm English too so I can see how it might be this. On the one hand you could take it as a joke, but on the other, that guy, whose he's never met before, just asked him about the size of his p***s at a national premiere. I'd probably be like 'well if that's your line of questioning, I've got about 100 other people I could talk to just over here.'

New photos of Cavill and co. in Rome from yesterday.

man, if they ever get around to doing a live action "ARCHER" i hope cavill gets to play sterling. with h.jon benjamin still doing the voice though.

Gina posted rumors of her being cast as Wonder Woman on her facebook a few days ago.. Not that I want it to happen but I'd say there's a chance she'll be considered

^you're awesome, hahaha do you only come out when you can make sex related posts?

That wasn't from her official page.

That was a fan page.

That awfully silly line made it on to a MOS Blu Ray release poster. :P

What a terrible way to market Superman...are they catering to the Transformers/Twilight crowd??

LOL ^ thats hilarious! I actually liked that line, cheesy at it was, cos as a girl I spent a lot of the film staring at HC in wonder and wondering whether they were ever going to acknowledge that this super alien just happened to be the best looking man ever to exist - and when they did it was funny, it got a big laugh in my cinema.

But as a poster line?? Hell no! What about all the other decent lines they could have picked, that actually stand alone??
"My father believed..." or " You will give the people an ideal to strive towards..."
Or even my favourite, "where did you train...ON A FARM???" that gets me every time hahaha

i think it's hilarious. especially given all the "it wasn't a fun, funny movie" type of comments it got.

I loved that line. I'm glad they are continuing to use it in the movie.

Tough sh** if you don't like it.

I thought it was fine both in and out of context. I even laughed when it was said. However, using it on a poster? Why? :funny:

Imagine the tagline they could have used for Superman Returns Blu-ray release poster.

''I just think he's kinda creepy.''

Teenage girls.

Avengers didn't earn so much money because it was OMG the greatest film ever. It made money because women who love slash fanfic flocked to it so they could have an excuse to write more porn.

I have friends in the fandom. I've been told the slash practically writes itself.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, if WB can find an in with the slash fans, they'll make bank.

How about "He's a brutal badass!" on the poster. Isn't that more fitting for Superman?

He’s one of those actors where their real personality is a bit of an enigma. I mean he comes across as polite and reserved and often serious but I’ve seen enough glimpses of another side, and heard personal accounts from people who know him, which contradict that a lot. I think he could be one of those guys who just take a while to let their guard down and to really get to know them.
I think its something else. I think he was very heavily schooled for MOS promotion. Watch some of his interviews from Feb-June 2011 and even November 2011 when he was promoting Immortals. He could actually be cocky and fun and joking and even a bit boastful. He had a personality then.

Cut to May-July 2013 when he is doing MOS promo and its like he's still in the character of Clark Kent. Almost excessively polite and humble and serious.
All those fan encounters from the summer where he’s totally wasted in most of them are hilarious. Not to mention that video someone posted recently with all those rugby dudes and he goes off in their coach. Dude needs to curb his drinking! Although I hope he doesn’t, the fact that he goes out and gets pissed a lot is funny to me. Makes him seem more like someone you could go for a pint or ten with, and then challenge to a push up contest. And win, obviously ;)
He has confessed to absolutely loving his bottle. He's a British lad after all. But poor guy doesn't get to drink much when he's training. He got to drink only once a week while training for Immortals and Man Of Steel and now for Batman Vs Superman.

Thought I am not sure he's as easily beatable in a push up contest. :woot: The dude that beat him was a hulking 6'6 250 pound rugby player behemoth. I have a feeling he would crush most normal fellas in a push up contest.

I dunno, I’ve seen quite a few interviews where they asked about his 'bulge', maybe he just got sick of it… either that or he’s exceptionally proud of his super-d*** and takes real offence at anyone suggesting that not every ounce of him is Kryptonian engineered perfection.

I would have answered the same way. It's just a strange question.
I don't think there are many interviews about that, the one posted above is the only one where he was asked about his bulge.

And yeah maybe he's super proud of his manhood but it wasn't meant to be questioning it, I think it was a funny question and the interviewer expected a funny answer. It was Cavill who took the question seriously whether his bulge was stuffed. And honestly, these bulges are always stuffed. Even the great Christopher Reeve had help with his package. :o
