BvS Henry Cavill IS Superman - Part 9

I hate the idea of Clark being able to adapt the suit to humanity. I'd rather allow this changes go unexplained since they're so subtle than waste film time explaining how and why he changed it.

Jor-El told Clark in MOS that he is a product of both worlds ............ as much human as Kryptonian.

Perhaps he is now letting his human side come through a little in making subtle alterations to his suit.

There is nothing human looking to the Superman suit, even the one Reeve used to wear. Unless maybe he changes that belt with a normal leather one with a big metal buckle or something.

As far as I can tell, here are the changes:

-Smaller shield/emblem with new S design (similar to the stone S symbol from promos) with the red layer raised above the blue frame

-Gauntlets are now inter-woven with the base suit, not resting on top of it, and are strap like rather than solid

-Side ribbing is broken up into separate lines instead of being cast as one piece with the outer line turning at a sharp angle down towards the "belt"

-Square "buckle" with S

-Waist gold bands are slightly wider and have a sharp/angled edge, rather than coming to a point

-Top of boots are different (not a solid band, but rather two outer lines overlaying boot)

-Neck is slightly curved in between cape attachments rather than being straight across

I love it..and to be honest you have to study it closely to see any changes..i'm more excited about henry's look. He looks even bigger and he now has the look of a superman who has "been there".

I thought I saw this too… But After really studying it, going back and forth between the old and new, I honestly can't tell.

Agreed, now if they could just give us a colored pic of Batman.

My money is on that indeed being gotham. It looks to be the opposite of metropolis just like supes and bats will be opposites. It looks like it may be supes who steps on batman's turf toes lol.

Yeah, Henry pulls that off very nicely. I likes it.

Just saw the updated version of the suit. The only thing I don't like is the square buckle part, it feels out of place to me.

I love it overall it's still one of my favorite CBM costumes of all time, the changes are subtle.

Looks a lot like the MOS suit, which was fantastic. So I'm happy.
Hope the colors are a LITTLE brighter though. Just for that nice contrast with Batman's darker colors.

Seriously, this. They basically refined those kryptonian lines on it to make it look a bit crispier. I doubt it will be too noticeable for most people, and i think that's the intention.

Hope the colors are a LITTLE brighter though. Just for that nice contrast with Batman's darker colors.

Just hope that Snyder will not use grey filters this time and the suit's colours will look fine. Just look at all the MoS backstage pics and compare them to how it looked on film.
