I like the new "S"... A little smaller, and a little further down from the neck ...
The new muscle suit looks more defined as well.
Looks like Supes is in Gotham, perhaps Batman is in a wider version of this pic?
More pics coming soon I think.. Or at least I hope..

Looks cool..

Don't mind any of the changes, looks good. Is that yellow trim on the top of his boots?

i really really hope they dont screw with the colors in this film... he needs to stand out more than this color wise if he's going to be next to batman

I can't see many changes at all, what has everyone noticed so far? When they said "minor changes" they really meant it didn't they.

I like a lot of the improvements, but there are a few things i am unsure off;

-the double 'v' on the boot top, where it hits his calves.
-the sharp angles. I dont have problem, visually with it. However the design team, seams to have broken a design rule they establish based last film. That being there are no straight lines on krypton.

I do love all the kryptonian ligatures interwoven into the suit, between the cuffs, on the 's'. Making it more alien nature.

The boots are cut a bit lower this time, which gives the impression that Cavill is a bit taller.

There's a S insignia in the square "belt buckle" also.

Not so minor to me (given that Superman altering his suit is so rare).

Rectangular belt buckle (with an S in it, too).
Top of boots double layered (sort of). Boots may be slightly shorter.
The ends of the belt are squared off instead of pointed, and it now has Kryptonian writing on it.
There's a line running through the middle of the S shield (there MAY be Kryptonian writing along either side of it, too) and the shield sits lower now, and is possibly smaller.
The gauntlets and piping are now separated from each other, and has changes shape. There MAY be Kryptonian writing in between the piping of the gauntlets.
Hair is shorter and straighter.

Over all looks good, but what the **** is with that buckle? As mentioned, goes completely against the design rules they established on Krypton, which also makes it clash with the rest of his suit.

Don't mind the tweaked trim on his sides, though, again, the straighter edges really conflict with the over all aesthetic.
Much preferred the old cuffs too.

Digging the shield slight resize, etc.
I like the inclusion of the line work through it, though not sure if it works with just the one. Also, the change in the "chain-mailing" on the shield, around said line, looks weird.
Will have to see a more head on shot for full evaluation.

plus it doesn't help that the picture is pretty washed out and dark... if we had a straight up shot, without the special effects, it would be easier to deduce its pros and cons

I'm glad others remembered the Krypton straight line rule!
It's sort of small I guess but it's really ticking me off..
I mean, why do through all that trouble with Krypton being all curvy and stuff and not following it through into this film?

I don't understand why there aren't 20 threads discussing his hair and his crotch...

:hehe:

Jor-El told Clark in MOS that he is a product of both worlds ............ as much human as Kryptonian.

Perhaps he is now letting his human side come through a little in making subtle alterations to his suit.

The suit doesn't look any more human though. At least, no culture I've seen.

Yeah and if that is so, I would like them to address it. Don't know how but..

I'm not saying the suit is meant to look human. Just that the man inside it belongs as much to Earth as Krypton, so he doesn't have to stick to Krypton's 'rules' rigidly.
