Totally agree. Kitty is one of my fave X-Women of X-Men. I'm glad Ellen Page is returning
Wondering when she'll start filming. She's going to be at Tribeca Talks in mid-April
Ah, and we'll finally get some quotes from her!
Ellen and Anna are the only ones we haven't heard anything from so far. Outside of Sy and Binging... but since neither of them speak English all to well I'm not expecting much.
read it on another site, Wow, who expected this info?
would have loved a Kitty/Ellen movie. Feels so random, but would have loved it, and would have given Kitty a great push to general audience.
Still glad she's back on DOFP, really interested to see what Bryan does with the character, now that is played by Ellen
I don't think it would have done well .. but is this article serious or an April Fool's joke?
Anyone else hoping she will be referenced as Shadowcat In film or credits?
That's got to be an April Fools joke.
That's from this past weekends podcast. Not a joke. Don't see why it matters.
Imagine if they introduced Lockheed in her solo film!
Classing it as BS
Still this was 7 years ago so it's not like it matters.
And it wouldn't be successful too.
So its not a bad decision to scrap it.
Never know. It would more then likely feature other X Men and FC didn't do bad with that weak line up. We have yet to see an X flick fail.
I would think the bad reaction to Origins got this scraped. Wonder what other movies Fox were messing with back then...
They had a lot of ideas
and now this Shadowcat film.
The thing with spin-offs is they are quite a risk, they are stepping into another territory, they will have to introduce a new set of cast, they have to hire a lot of new actors. Unlike with making a sequel to the original trilogy, it is so much easier and the general public is already aware of the cast.
As long as they actually have a plan and lead the characters somewhere like Marvel does it can work quite well with audiences. Making random spin offs that aren't part of a bigger picture would def hurt them and just make the franchise a bigger mess.
I think it's risky just doing a movie on any X-Men. The beauty of them is that they work well as a team.
Apparently Ellen has been going to a gym in LA:
Great to know a good part of the cast is going to the gym this time! Love it!
Maybe Ellen has to look In shape for a superhero costume or some futuristic prison outfit.
Ha, Go Ellen!
I love that thinking
I would love to see the mature x-men team looking better than ever, both in shape and with awesome costumes.
So if that's Singer intention, Im ALL for it
aww man... She's rocking it. haha. I love her look. its awesome!
She is preparing for her proyect!
