A lot of people are thinking that Heroes is like 24, where they kill off whoever. I don't belive that to be true. There is no way they are going to kill, HRG,Hiro, Nathan, Peter, Matt, Claire off. Even Sylar will make it.

If they turn it into a 24 where no one is safe. Then they will lose fans. They put the characters in jeporady, but not kill the main ones. To much build up. Charlie and Eden were always supporting characters. How much of an imapact do they have on the main character? A little not a lot.

Clarie and Nathan are not going to die just because they have not met.

Apparently, you haven't read this:

Kring added: "We could have new people and new storylines and new ideas and new threats and new bad guys and new heroes. So I would prepare the audience for that idea, that it's not just a continuing serialized storyline about only these people. It's a little more the 24 model than the Lost model."

You can read the article here: http://www.scifi.com/scifiwire/index.php?category=0&id=40354

And apparently it has worked for 24. There are people that are really really attached to the show. It just takes really creative writing and great actors to make it work.

Also, there is another thread regarding that article.

You're probably right about the ones you listed, but I think some of the other main characters have a good shot of dying. I'd say Isaac has a decent shot of biting the dust, for example.

Charlie and Eden were always supporting characters. How much of an imapact do they have on the main character? A little not a lot.

What about Simone? She's been there since episode 1, and was a love interest to two main characters. It was a pretty big deal.

Well... the commercials keep chanting "no one is safe..." so... yeah. It is like 24, except Jack Bauer can be killed too!

24 hasn't lost fans, better yet, when you make the cast flexible from the start instead of trying to change up things five years later, you have a much better chance of things catching and people getting into the SHOW instead of a single character... which is the principal difference between Heroes and 24...

I was gonna say, it looks like Issac, HRG, and Suresh are toast from the looks of the last episode...too bad, HRG and Suresh were two of my favorites...:(

Yes, but like in comic-books they won't be dead for long.
um....yes, yes they will

this is a TV SHOW, people don't make miraculous recoveries from the dead
has Charlie come back? NO
has Eden come back? NO
will Simone come back? NO

i'll be glad when people stop comparing this show to 24 or lost. i could not care less about either show.

People dying frequently annoys me.

Well, keep in mind Eden's wasn't planned, and I presume that you aren't talking about cameos like Dale and Zane...

So that's Simone and one more before the years end... does 1 death per 11 episodes seem frequent to you?

There's other reasons for characters not to return, or to be moved from main to supporting cast y'know... like, the story taking place in another century... or simply a ending to one story and the beginning of the next...
