From a creative standpoint, I hate Russo. I hate his wrestling philosophies, his ideas, his desire to take credit for anything good but avoid blame for crappy ideas. I also hate the fact that he has no respect for anything considered "Traditional" in pro wrestling. I was really hoping that he was out of the wrestling biz for good after he did that interview with Kayfabe Commentaries.

Whomever thought it was a good idea to involve Russo in TNA again should be fired.

- Chris Jericho’s new Talk Is Jericho interview with William Shatner is now online at this link. It also features the world premiere of Fozzy’s new single Light Go Out. Jericho’s guests on Friday will be WWE Superstar Santino Marella and Jericho’s son Ash.

- Jim Ross will be hosting another “Ringside” event in Chicago at the House of Blues on Saturday, May 31st at 2pm. Tickets go on sale through Ticketmaster this Friday at 10am.

- We noted before that an Evolution vs. The Shield War Games was being speculated on but that no arenas between now and SummerSlam would be able to accommodate a two-ring set up for the match. It turns out that the Tampa Bay Times Forum in Tampa, site of this year’s Battleground event, is big enough for a War Games setup.

- There are many people within TNA, who were apparently once in the know, that are upset at how things are being kept a secret creatively now.

Eric Young’s World Heavyweight Title win was kept a major secret and officials were very paranoid about it getting out. A source observed that officials put so much effort into keeping secrets, if they put that much energy into TNA’s plan of execution then maybe they could capitalize on some things in a better way.

Regarding talk that Young’s title win was a rip off of Daniel Bryan’s win in WWE, the word from within TNA is that the title change was not done because Bryan won and it was done because that was the last live episode of Impact Wrestling for a few weeks and officials really wanted to surprise a lot of people.
