i racked up over 12 odd k posts on dial up, posting on the hype was a mission then, you'd have at least 3 internet screens up just to try and get through things at a reasonable pace...

My mom was foolish enough to get AOL with dial-up April 1999.

I got high-speed September 2005, as soon as I got a job and split the bill with her.

over here its still very costly its R500 a month which is 50pounds a month
