Hilary Swank to Star in The Resident

Hilary Swank will star in The Resident, a thriller set to shoot next May on the East Coast under the reconstituted Hammer Films banner, reports Variety.

Antti J. Jokinen will make his feature directing debut from a script he co-wrote with Robert Orr. Erin Cressida Wilson (Secretary) recently turned in a rewrite.

Swank will play a doctor who moves into a Brooklyn loft. Becoming suspicious that she's not alone in her new home, she discovers her landlord is a stalker.

Jokinen, who hails from Finland, has directed videos for Will Smith, Beyoncé, Eminem, Korn and Celine Dion, and is co-founder of Solar Films, Finland's largest TV and film producer. He's also directed and co-written several TV series back home.

Don't think ive seen any of this guys music videos but the Swanker is usually pretty good value.

As good of an actress as Hilary Swank is (and she's one of the better ones out there), she needs to grow her hair long again, as she looked more attractive with longer hair.

Still, this should be a good role for her.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan ("Grey's Anatomy," upcoming Watchmen) is reteaming with his P.S. I Love You co-star Hilary Swank in The Resident, a thriller Antti J. Jokinen is directing for Hammer Films.

The story centers on a young doctor (Swank) who moves into a loft in Brooklyn where mysterious occurrences lead her to suspect that she is not alone in her home. She discovers that her seemingly charming landlord (Morgan) has developed a dangerous obsession with her, resulting in a terrifying game of cat and mouse.

Jokinen and Robert Orr wrote the initial script, which was rewritten by Erin Cressida Wilson.

Christopher Lee Has an Invasion of Privacy

Christopher Lee will star alongside Hilary Swank and Jeffrey Dean Morgan in Antti J. Jokinen's directorial debut, Invasion of Privacy, for Hammer Films.

Lee starred in a slew of horror pictures in the 1960s and 1970s made by Hammer Productions.

The film centers on a young doctor (Swank) who moves into a loft in Brooklyn where mysterious occurrences lead her to suspect that she is not alone in her home. She discovers that her seemingly charming landlord (Morgan) has developed a dangerous obsession with her, resulting in a terrifying game of cat and mouse.
