Actually, I think that Jessica's electrifical brain impulsations got shaken after her deathization, thus causing them to merge statically with Niki's own brain signatures, hence the creation of a gestalt Niki/Jessica.

Nikki is the one with the physical power (according to this theory). They would have never brought up Jessica stepping in to protect Nikki in the first place if she didn't have this ability. Just like Nikki would black out when Jessica's personality takes over in the current storyline, she doesn't remember her father's abuse because Jessica was doing the same thing then.

now that you mention that one....hrmm....that would make a lot of sense. Nikki does seem like a repressed and dull character. exhibiting personality traits of her long dead sister would be a better plotline then she's two in one.

this is true, but you brought up an interesting point earlier. i think Jessica might just be a manifestation of Nikki's childhood trauma. she's a way for Nikki to become assertive and strong in order to deal with the problems that happen in her life. maybe she just gave it the name and characteristics of her dead sisiter Jessica because she envied certain aspects of her.

that'd be such a better storyline then the two of them literally sharing space in a body.
