Hissing sound from Bravia TV!

I got a new Sony Bravia KDL40W5500U today and there is a loud noticeable hissing sound coming from the rear of the TV at the top. I am guessing it is from the bulbs of the backlight but it is pretty loud and can be heard when watching TV.

Is this normal for a new TV? Meaning, are the bulbs warming up or whatever because they are new and the hissing will stop?

At the moment, I am leaving the TV on at all times so the hissing may clear up. And there is no sound from the TV when in stand by mode, only makes a sound from the back when the TV is on.

Hope someone can offer advice!

Take it back and ask for another one, if its like brand new it shouldnt be making that sound, could be lose connections with the speakers, either way you should take it back and exchange it for another one.
