I was browsing through my DVR guide and spotted this special that's airing on the History Channel next Wednesday night. Just thought I'd give you guys a heads up in case it wasn't already posted here. :brucebat:

Oh yeah, thanks for reminding me! I caught a commercial for that a week ago and almost forgot about it. I love History Channel crap-- I pretty much wore out my recorded "History of Super Heroes" tape, the sound is almost completely gone...

By the way, is that Jin from Samurai Champloo in your icon?

Why yes it is. :word:

I'm bumping this also because there's another History Channel special that will air on Monday (7/21) titled Batman Tech.

The description/summary given by my DVR guide is that experts will compare Dark Knight's gadgets to actual technology. :brucebat:

I always enjoy these types of specials on History Channel. They did two for Star Wars (Legacy Revealed and Star Wars Tech) last year. National Geographic had a Superman one when SR came out.

I'm gonna have to record that, too. Thanks for that post this special seems cool.

They had these when Spidey 3 came out.

Its awesome stuff, specially the "Tech" shows. DVRing all of it.

Awesome show! I really enjoyed it. I recorded it and I'll probably watch it later.

Watched it today. Really interesting. Wish they discussed some other villains and Ra's and Freeze.

I caught it too. Good stuff. It was interesting how they compared the villians to real life killers like Ted Bundy and Robert Hinkley. They also made a compelling case comparing Bruce Wayne to Teddy Roosevelt. Also tossed in some short clips from The Dark Knight too. Awesome!!
