So guys, you think I'll be able to go to Best Buy or whatever equivalent Vancouver has, during mid-January and just pick up a Wii and some games (Zelda, Excite Truckies, that Scrubs game and Red Steel?

VOTE! :cmad:

Yeah, you'll be able to get one no problem. Also, Casino Royale looks worth my ticket money.

CASINO ROYALE will be the best film evah!

Here's my problem with the poll:

You won't see a Wii, but I don't want to say screw you, and hooray for CR! :word:

I'm in love with you!

Future Shop (based in Burnaby... crack open the atlas) and Best Buy are the big electronic/video game retailers in Canada. Best Buy (non commission) bought Future Shop (commission) a few years ago. Future Shop was this lame ad on right now where two experts review the Wii; one gives it 5/5 the other 7/7 and the guy who said 7/7 says he wins, again.

Also may want to check out Real Canadian Superstore (basically Wal-Mart Canada but not as evil and much bigger grocery section) they'll be slightly cheaper and they tend to do bundles more.

Holy crap, thanks a lot
I think I'll be kinda near Burnaby (I'm gonna go to an Aikido dojo there), so I can totally go there and get stuff

If you take the Skytrain to Megatown or whatever the huge mall is in Burnaby (largest in BC) you'll have plenty of options to buy a Wii. I was there back in 2003. Also, I dunno what you paid for movie tickets in the States or what you expect to pay but I was paying seven more dollars at the BC Famous Players then the Famous Players in Winnipeg.
