Holiday Family Fights!

Does Your Family Holiday Brawl?

  • We are the perfect exact same sweaters family!

  • We word fight but it goes away so we can watch Mee open presents.

  • We only fight if there is booze but then we all just look at Runt's tatoos!

  • We always bicker like that time knowsbleed insulted Bamfer's face.

  • Hell Yes! What would be Christmas without police intervention!

I regulate my time at my mother's house because my step-dad and I get into heated arguments all the time.

I'll go, eat dinner, visit for an hour or so and leave before he says something idiotic.
That and the inevitable comments from my mother about my hair, and my whole life in general.

It's usually just my parents and brother, so fights are somewhat small. My parents bicker over some innane argument, and then my brother upsets my mom and she goes on her "I wish I never had children" rant. But she usually says that I'm the perfect daughter, only she wishes I would wear more makeup and smile more and will I stay home longer?

So, I hide in my room.

Well not usually. But I'm a senior so I'm sure a lot of the focus this year will be about college so it will be annoying! Also I'd just like to share with you all I GOT INTO COLLEGE!

So? Any fights happen? I had a relatively tame Christmas.

My family had one of the best Christmases in recent memory. So much so that I didn't come out, like I was planning on doing.

No fights this year, just a few awkward moments. There was the characteristic ***** moment from my mother though...thankfully since I only saw her tonight, it was shorter than usual :o

That's very unselfish of you...

... but what are your plans for a New Year's celebration?

my sister, mom, and aunt have a rocky relationship. so when my sister decided to leave and go to her boyfriend's house to co-celebrate with his family without saying goodbye to the side of the family she dislikes (my mom's), **** hit the fan.

soon my aunt was, justifiably, yelling at my sister for being disrespectful (walking right by my aunt and out her door without saying a word...I mean, it's just common courtesy to do so on christmas regardless of the past) and then some accusations that my mom is terrible at being manipulative and likes to further stir **** up when things don't turn out the way she wants, because she's so terrible at being manipulative.

it's a fair assessment to say i hate my family.

Well we dont really fight during dinner, but back when we went to my grandma's or uncle for x-mas there was usually some intrigue on the days leading up to it ... but when we got together everyone was smiling... u knew there was more to it though, and it was always funny :hehe:

We had a quiet dinner this year, without all the 'intrigue makers', so it was really nice :woot:

I'm actually happy that there were no fights, verbal or otherwise, at Christmas Dinner yesterday at my parents' house. We were actually having a fun time laughing at very old, slightly embarassing stories.

My family was crazy this year...I will post about it later!

Of course! Yesterday afternoon my Mom called my Uncle to tell him we weren't coming over his house, and that turned into an agruement which turned into to my Uncle saying "**** you and **** your whole family!".

Good times.
