We've known that for years. The studios are major sticklers and pass up fantastic opportunities all the time.

Its a hard choice to make. "Play the game so you can win out in the end" which is what Zombie is currently trying or "have the balls to just do your own thing, of course at the expense of effective budgeting and distribution" which is what I thought Zombie was going to attempt from the beginning.

I used to be one of those people -- and still sort of am. But, unfortunately, I don't run Hollywood, so I kind of have to look at what's there and go, 'Well, OK, this is how they want to do things and I want to make movies.

CNN's Screening Room already covered this weeks ago. Hollywood is more dependent on franchises in these difficult times. Who can really say what state the industry will be like in 10 years?

For f**k sakes stop blaiming the economy for everything. They were doing remakes, & churning out crap before the economy hit the skids.

Zombie's deprived of sack, Hollywood is deprived of sack; however, there are always exceptions. Paranormal Activity is a perfect example of that. I just want to hear five little words from Zombie and I'll be willing to forgive him for his selling out(maybe). Those five words are "I've...got...bills...to...pay". I just want a straight-up confession out of this fool. Just have Zombie shell out like...50 or 60 grand out of his pocket, and make an all out guerilla-style fright-fest.

I seriously doubt that he is hurting for money. He has a pretty large fanbase and has a new CD as well as tour he's doing.
