Looks at PC version of Red Faction...

Yup. I don't remember if the PS2 has it though

On one level, I got bored so I cheated and gave myself unlimited ammo. I used nothing but mines, and crashed the game with my spelunking adventures.

Now I just have to find a copy of Urban Chaos for PC...

I REFUSE TO EVEN RECOGNIZE THAT GAME EXISTS. THE COOLEST PART OF 'RED FACTION' WAS THE 'GEO-MOD' ENGINE.......AND IT WAS VIRTUALLY ABSENT FROM 'RF2'. WHEN YOU DID USE IT, IT WAS A SCRIPTED EVENT/SCENARIO.

Agreed.

RF2 had a minimal connection to Red Faction, and that was...

1) In name only
2) A brief sentence or two in the opening cutscene about the nanotech being stolen from Mars.

As an aside, it's a much worse sequel than what some have said about Deus Ex: Invisible War. I'm almost 7 hours into the game (real life time: about 2-3 weeks playing), and it's very enjoyable. "The game" referring to Invisible War.

Best 5 bucks I've spent on a clearance item

THAT'S TRUE, BUT THE 'GEO-MOD', AND THE EXCELLENT BOT/MULTIPLAYER GAVE IT TREMENDOUS REPLAY VALUE. IN AN AGE BEFORE XBOX 'LIVE', THAT WAS AN AMAZING, AND RARE, FEATURE IN A CONSOLE GAME.
