Wizard goes out to the comic book stores about a week ebfore it hits bookstores and the like.

I saw that Wizard image (no scanner, sorry), and I can confirm that Penace (whoever she is, trust me, her backstory's half as complicated as the Clone Saga) and "a" Spider-Girl-Woman figure (as well as some female Ninja-type). This was amungst the Excelsior-era roster of Darkhawk, Turbo, Ricochet, Julie Power, and Phil Urich.

My bet for this Spider-Woman is Mattie Frank. It would be easier than having some reality hopping, plus, remember the premise. THE LONERS is about a team of FORMER teen superheroes coming together to try to support each other as they try to "kick the habit" for the sake of their futures (and at times, sanity; just look at how Chris Powel's gotten). Mattie Frank, love her or hate her, fits that premise to a T (especially since when we last saw her in ALIAS, it seemed as if she wanted to "retire").

Mattie makes a whole lot of sense. I belive she was about 15 when she got her powers from the Gathering of Five ( I think thats how she go her powers) so she fits in with the former teen hero mold that Exclesior/Loners is.
