I found this interesting theorie on the Nolan-board:
"OK, so I'm Johnny-come-lately or in my case Ronnie-come-lately but I just viewed "Batman Begins" for the first time last night via DVD.
Toward the end of the film during the monorail sequence there are cutaways to a radio operator and his voice and face jumped out at me. I recognized them from the fifth Sean Connery/James Bond installment "You Only Live Twice", 1967. I checked it out on IMDB and sure enough the actor's name is Shane Rimmer. He played virtually the same part in both movies (in the JB flick he's a radar operator) and from my memory he is shot at the same angle in both films. I know this is minute trivia but does anybody know if director Nolan did this on purpose or how Rimmer got to be cast in the Batman movie? It's like a 38 year difference in release dates for the two titles. I somehow feel the director sought him out based on the earlier movie."
