What are your thoughts on the Steven Spielberg film?

Loved it. Great cast, and the set designs were fantastic.

But of course, this thread will fill with the haters who will say "It sucks!" , and can't think of any real reason they don't like it. :oldrazz: :whatever:

I love this movie. Actually quoted it last night.... and people stared.

Haven't seen it since I was a child, I remembered liking it as a child, with the solid performances showing the fun side of cinema.

If I watched it now, I may end up picking most of it apart, but I can't say it's on my list of things to watch in the near future, for now at least, it's gona remain a happy memory.

I loved the score and I liked the film overall despite its flaws.

I saw this in theaters, it was great then and still is now.

Just saw it couple of days ago again on dvd and it was great!

Great film, Roberts as Tink was hot, those legs of hers....yummy. About that kid who played Roofio(sp?), I swear that guy doesn't age. He still acts in disney kid programs and was in that Banderaz film, take the lead, playing a high school kid. How old is he?

The fact that Spielberg killed Roofio is stunning looking back. Especially after seeing him let the son live in WOTW.

I was very disappointed with this film. I mean I used to like it being a kid, but after growing up I realized it was awful attempt to show a great story with amazing visual style. And I really hated all that 90s stuff in some moments like scene with skateboards.

A true classic. I watched it back to back to back once as a kid.

True in that it is not as bad as the critics made it out to be. His most underrated has to be Empire of the Sun :(

So true, it was a really great film. Personally I loved it, but I still don't get why critics weren't so positive about it.

Bought it on DVD recently. Got to say, I wasn't expecting the old movie magic to hold up now as it did when I was younger, but damn it, it did. Quality piece of cinema.

Good movie....the actor they chose for Captain Hook was PERFECT. Best version of Cpt. Hook ever. :)

One of the few Spielberg films that I don't have on DVD. I haven't seen it in a very long time, but I thought it was pretty cool from what I remember.

I read that Michael Jackson wanted the role of Peter Pan. Steven didn't give it to him so MJ supposedly put some voodoo spell on him.
