Horror-themed Mecha movies

Does anyone know any good Horror-themed Mecha anime movies? Looking for more mechs battle aliens or horror monsters to save earth. No all-girl team also, I just do not like watching that type of anime.

Just off hand, "Blue Seed" comes to mind. I wouldn't really consider it horror themed, Sci-Fi would be more like it.

Insect-like monsters have invaded the earth, humankind and their mechs battle to stop them, Check.

This OVA (original Video Animation) series has a serious/dark tone to it, which I assume is what you want being that you mention horror-themed and aren't into all-girl teams.
