I talked to my friend thats the head manager at our local Hot Topic and she calls this BS!

I hope she just doesnt know yet. This would be amazing, I really hope its true.

I agree totally, I remember when I was a little kid in 1989 and everywhere I looked there was batman, I mean it was amazing, as a child nothing could've been better, I was always bugging my mom everywhere we went for something Batman, it was exciting. I also remember 1995 when BF came out things were just as big, everywhere from TV, to McDonalds to street corners, you saw Batman. SHADOWBAT69 is right, theres nothing we can do about it but sit back and enjoy it, to experience it as much as possible and hell, collect all the goodies we can get!

Most of their stuff is actually really trendy and for "scene" kids, kids that are trying to be cool or emulate the look of people in bands.

You're not honoring him by taking his work away from people who WANT to remember him and WANT to enjoy his performance and participation in this franchise to the fullest. You're making people forget.

I concur. While I understand some are still sad over his loss, but I'm sure in time they will recover & they will accept to see his Joker everywhere again. The only way to support his Joker is releasing the merchandise. For god's sake, the 3 Stooges been dead for a long time & people still enjoying watching their program along with all kind of merchandise. They should do the same way with Heath.

So? Batman is more than that. He is everywhere, so I see nothing wrong with Hot Topics selling Batman stuff. They been selling Batman & other superheroes stuff for years when they first open. And I don't know what you mean it will never have anything to do with Batman when they already done that for years. If they will never have anything to do with Batman, then why are they selling Batman stuff? Because he is popular, even the folks at HT has to be fan of his.

Dude, that is harsh & uncall for. Many of us like the store because they sell nostalgia(sp?) stuff that we love beside superheroes. It not just emo or gothic store. And one of my cousin was a manager one time at the one close to me, so I'm insulted by your comment there.

If he need to stay away from the mass public, he wouldn't be successful as he is now. Let face it, Batman has became more than just a comic book character: he is a media icon. I bet you wouldn't even like Batman if he was only just for comic book reader. You're being too hard on some folks there. Chill out.

By the way, this might be old news but there is a site called Joker Brand that sells LA street thug-type gear which has a clown character resembling the bank hiest masks from the film. My wife got me one of thier hooded sweatshirts for Christmas (oddly from Foot Locker) and their clown buckle for Valentine's Day; I'm a Joker fan, what can ya do?

If you're looking for cool, Joker themed merchandise that isn't exactly like everything else "joker" out there you might want to give them a look.
