ABC's dramas are down double digits, its lone fall hit slipping, "Modern Family" with no friends -- so why is the Peacock's punching-bag status not threatened?

To further add to this perspective regarding ABC's ratings issues, here's some intriguing "food for thought":

Not surprised, but NBC only has The Voice and sports to thank for their ratings.

NBC/FOX barely tied though I am surprised FOX came in 2nd when they have 2 nights of extremely low rated shows, but they also have sports on their side I believe.

Hey, even though ABC hardly puts out a press release for The View, they put out releases quite often for The Chew and GH. So.......at least two of their 3 day time shows are up from last season.

I like how the article seems to say that and Don't Trust the B**** failed in the post-Modern Family time slot like Super Fun Night is likely to, but no, they "failed" because ABC ****ed with a good thing and took them out of that time slot.

Yeah, the decision to move Happy Endings into the slot opposite the biggest comedy of the previous season (with pretty much exactly the same demographic) was straight up dumb as ****, and every time I see that SFN's numbers dip lower and lower each week, I practically giggle.

ABC is known for crappy scheduling. Plenty of good shows have gotten canceled because of ABC moving things around for no good reason. Samantha Who? was doing amazing on mondays, Ugly Betty was doing great on thursdays. What do they do? Move Ugly Betty to a new night, later timeslot and tried to create a comedy block in front of Greys with Samantha Who? and another show. What happened? All those shows were canceled and nothing has survived that Thursday 8pm time slot since.

How are the friday shows still hanging in there? That's usually the day you don't want you show to be on.
