I was just thinking, how about an ultimate spider-man spin-off franchise? Maybe logan lerman can play the ultimate spider-man. The series would be entirely based on the comic. You have to admit, that would be pretty cool. Heck, not just ultimate spider-man, but how about spider-girl, spider-man 2099, etc.

I could only see it working out as a series of direct-to-video animated releases. You can't run two movie franchises at once. That would be like if we got an adaptation of The Dark Knight Returns at the same time as Nolan's Batman 3.

But what am I even saying? You know this new series is Ultimate based anyway, right?

Well, Nick Fury is played by Samuel L. Jackson...and Nick Fury in the Ultimate comics is based on Samuel L. Jackson...

not everything that is in the Ultimate line is in the films, but a good chunk of it(the chunk that people actually like).

Yah, of course, like how Arad wanted a Venom spin-off from Spider-Man 3.

Sure.

I doubt the Venom movie gets made...as much as I like Venom.
As for this. I thought we were getting an Ultimate Spidey movie anyway?
And Spider-Man 2099 and the others sound awful to have as its own franchise...if anything that comic is a straight to dvd cartoon.

the venom spinoff has been canned.

and what's the point of doing a spinoff of USM, If we are GETTING a USM movie?

If they can pull it off but there's a cartoon coming out next fall. I really liked SSM
