The Dark Knight How are you treating Spoilers around the release?

I won't mind a few mild details but I don't want heavy ending spoilers. For example, I don't wanna know how it ends for The Joker. Whether he lives, dies, etc.

Oh boy, it is going to be tough to avoid spoilers. I did with Begins so I guess it can suck it up and hold out for TDK as well. Makes the viewing experience a tad bit mor pleasureable.

I'll take as many spoilers as possible up until the release, and then you won't see me for a week while I wait for it to be released in the UK.

sounds like SHH will be empty around the release !!!!!:D:D:D

you'll be safe in the 'Tusi :)

I think I would be, yes, but other areas of the spoiler section will be dripping with spoilers. It would be like jumping into a giant Spoiler Soup and expecting to not get burned.

Besides, I don't want to be "that person" others aren't allowed to spoil the movie to, you know? "So how about that Joker, wasn't he amazing when he..." *Snoo enters the Tusi* "Oh, wait, Snoo's here. Quick, start talking about something else! *shifty look*"

It just gets awkward for everybody else and I don't want that. :yay:

I'll get off when the major spoilers start pouring in

I don't want too much to be revealed but I don't mind being spoiled by a minor storyline point. I especially don't want to see Two Face until the actual release on the 18th.

I'm reading all the spoilers. The allure of this movie brings me in like Michael Vick to a dogfight.

Once reviews start coming in, I plan to leave the spoiler board. I say that now but the Hype! has a mystical power and will most likely suck me back in.

That's pretty much where I am, but it shouldn't matter a whole lot, because I'll probably see the Friday matinee when it opens.

For Begins, a group of us went to the midnight show, and I wasn't sure if the hour affected my enjoyment of the movie or not. But I saw it again later and realized, no, it's just not a perfect movie, and the fact that some of the weakest stuff is in the last third means that that's what you get sent home with, so...

But that's neither here nor there. The point is: I'll refrain from spoilers, but I'll see it so soon out of the gate that it won't matter much.

Unless somebody sees it well before it opens and posts a thorough review in here. That would make it tough.

One thing I hate is when new threads get made and the spoilers are included in the thread titles.

thats what im worried about so im probably not going to come here for a month or so before the opening

I don't want to know anything about the fates of any characters. That's pretty much it. Although I'm going to avoid pretty much any spoiler like the plague when it's a week or two from release.

He and Bats make up, Joker is rehabilitated, and they live happily ever after.

Oops.

I read every spoiler, script leak and review with BB so there was no suprises but with TDK I just no the overall plot and what we've seen from the trailers and prologue and I'll like to keep it that way so I guess that mean no supereherohype for me around that time.

I'll be devouring every spoiler I can find :)

I'll be staying away from these boards and all reviews as well. Even if the reviews don't reveal anything, I don't want to have any preconcived notions about what to expect.

Although, I'm sure the viral marketing will be in full swing around release date, so I'll definately keep up with that.

After the new trailer on Monday as apart of the viral I may just try to avoid news on this movie, period. I already know way more than my friends do on it thanks to this site haha.

I won't be anywhere near this place when the movie comes out.

I used avoid every single piece of a film until it came out. I was able to not watch one single trailer for Matrix 2, 3. Spider-man 1,2, and Hulk 03.
But thats what really messed things up for me. I waited so patiently to be completly surprised by The HUlk then it ended up sucking. Man was I angry.

I dont have that will power with TDK. I cant help but look at the new pics and trailers. Im gonna try not to watch the next trailer. Thats gonna be tough.

But I think I came up with a good solution. When one film gets spoiler heavy Im just gonna hang out in another thread till its release. So I will probably stop reading TDK forums and head over to Dragon Ball.

So see ya!

I know nothing about this movie besides what i saw in the prologue and trailers. Pictures so far haven't been very spoilerish as to the actual plot, unless i missed some.
