The Dark Knight How are you treating Spoilers around the release?

yeah i haven't been on here in days... just not that into the movie any more. but that'll change

I think I'm gonna establish a pretty neat screening process, avoiding the very spoilerish stuff but reading some reviews nonetheless to see how awesome this movie really is !:woot::woot:

The question is: are there any massive spoilers still left? I thought we pretty much knew the major stuff.

I actually intend to prohibit myself completely from visiting these boards within a few days of the release date. I know people in other countries where TDK will be released earlier than here in the U.S. will give up the entire movie on the boards, and at this point I don't want to be majorly spoiled. Months back I was thirsting for the script, but this close to release I might as well just wait.

I just nipped in there and really wanted to click on a thread saying 'Fate Of The Joker Revealed' is there anyway i can 'not allow myself in there' say like a timer that wont allow me in till the 25th?

I doubt it but thought i'd at least ask?

4 more post to 100,lol.well i think u can ask them to doit as a favor.

Ive been asking myself the same question, and its not working out for me very well!

Depending on what anti-virus or internet shield you use, I believe there is a way for you to block access to certain HTML links.

I think it's pretty easy not too click on spoilers...just hold back..it's better too see it on the big screen rather than reading it on the hype.

Funny thread, and an interesting conundrum. I find it damn near impossible to not look if I see something, maybe have your internet service discontinued till the 18th.

I wouldn't say it's pretty easy, but I just think of how much I will be thanking myself for not spoiling parts of the film and watching the movie unfold in front of me. I watch all the commercials and trailers but I won't watch the 12 clips IESB posted. I have never even watched the Prologue. I want to go in as fresh as possible. And when it comes to reviews, I'll just check to see how many stars the film was awarded.

What makes things a little bit easier is the Non-Spoilers section of TDK is pretty active compared to the other Non-Spoilers section of other movies where it is usually just a ghost town. Granted, a lot of of that has to do with the Tusi, but still.

When I joined last July I spoiled myself...from then too now, I haven't watched the prologue, which I'm greatful. I wasn't able too stay away from the leaked Two-Face ( someone signed on with the Display pic of the leaked picture) and the 'My Hero' thing was used in the Avvy Thread.

Other than that I've seen all the TV Spots and the Trailers..that's all I need. So if you are having a problem with spoilers..well only yourself can keep you away from them.

I was thinking about asking the mods to ban me lol. So then I cant get on here and spoil myself

But I've already gave in and watched a few clips on iesb. Has anyone done worse then me?

Well, the "Fate of the Joker" thread is all a ruse. Just some stupid youtube video of the titanic sinking.

And to stop yourself from going into the spoilers forum, just don't click on it?

Well i pretty thought of getting spoilers or not but i was like ,hell with it,i like just getting alot of this,is fun to be a part of it.

I read a a pretty big spoiler around 30 hours ago and i still cant forgive myself....i've stayed away from spoilers for a year and now 19 days to go and i spoil myself??

Take it from me,you DONT want do it to yourself...go read some Batman comic books it will satisfy your thirst for Batsy very well.

Tip:dont enter the spoilers forum, people have no sense of hiding spoilers there...in almost every thread.
If you dont want a spoiler, dont enter there altogether.

It is easy enough, you just have to hold back, I have been in the spoiler forum, but have yet to go into the reviews thread because that is where the major info is at, pretty simple. I dont think there is any harm in looking at the photos, or the 12 clips which I would consider to be mostly non spoiler anyway.

Yeah you could hold back. But you know that deep down inside if you, you can't resist and 21 days seems like a long time . So instead of saying how I will avoid say I will check it out, and watch how this reverse psychology will work. At least it worked for me.
