Just wondering how you are choosing to watch the film. I know I want to see it IMAX, but not sure if I want to view the 2D as well or just go with the IMAX 3D.

with my eyes...this really can be moved to the all things Superman: open discussion thread. No need for this here

I dunno. Got the walmart tickets so probably just 3D. However I will see it a couple more times I'm sure. I want to catch it in IMAX 2D.

I'll likely see it in 3D first - and then 2D.

Twice in 2D and the once in 3D

I would have gone with 2D only, but I must admit Star Trek Into Darkness was so good in 3D I had to opt for first viewing in 3D.

Superman Returns had some division for Superman fans and I'm sure it lowered repeat viewings to an extent. I wonder how much more in repeat viewings (from hardcore Supes fans) MOS will get.

Yeah I only went to see Superman Returns once, compared to Batman Begins and the Dark Knight which I went to see each one 3 times.

First time just a regular 2d viewing. 2nd time Imax 2d. If I go a third I'll probably see it in 3d to see how it is.

Interesting. The fanbase seems quite supportive of MOS already. I just want box office to secure a sequel. I am sure they want JL soon, but I like countless others would like a Batman/Superman film first. It could be a great way to introduce the JL universe.

First night will be 3-D Imax, next night will be 3-D on a normal sized screen

Haha, exactly the same amount of times I saw those films too. I expect MoS to be no less than 3 viewings for me either.

While my midnight showing will be IMAX 3D, that wouldn't be my ideal choice, but I love IMAX, so I'll put up with the 3D. However, I've noticed my theater will subsequently have one show per day of IMAX 2D, so that's what I'll be choosing for my 2nd viewing, as that's my favorite way to watch a movie, period.

Me too

Tbh in recent years I've stopped trying to see films more than once as I usually aren't in a rush to watch them on Blu Ray (although I did see Avengers twice) but with MOS I have never been this excited in my life for a film. I have been buzzed for other films like Batman Begins where my excitement was high but it wasn't at this level. I'll definitely be seeing this 3 times for sure.

IMAX 3D with my brother first, then 3D with other mates and maybe catch a 2D showing at the local cinema on my own.

I'm not a big 3D fan but it has the best theater and ability to reserves your seats ahead of time so i got that.

I've made a decision not bother with IMAX 3D unless the film was shot in IMAX otherwise it's not really worth it.

3D will be my first viewing having already purchased the walmart tickets. But considering the local theater finally has a IMAX screen now (though I haven't had the opportunity to check it out yet), I'm sure that's how a potential subsequent viewing will go.

First two nights on the same screen, IMAX 3D. Possible third time IMAX 2D hopefully.

Probably in 3D. For some reason, IM3 was only released in 3D out here, and several weeks later, that's still the only way to watch it in theaters. Same with STID.

IMAX. I believe it's 3D but I didn't book and there wouldn't have been a choice.

Can't wait!

It depends on the circumstances, since it's action-packed, I might be compelled to try 3D, but for the most part I'm starting out in 2D.

2D. If I like it, might try IMAX the second time around.

If IMAX 2D is available then that's what I'll see, though I'll probably only have an IMAX 3D option. I generally prefer to see films the way that they were shot, only time I ever genuinely wanted to see 3D was the Hobbit, since it was actually shot in 3D.

ULTRA AVX!!! which from my own personal experience is better than iMAX, way bigger screen, better sound, ****ing amazing seats, no one can kick the back of your seats, thats how much space there is :D

I despise 3D with a passion, so 2D.
