i have 3 finals tomorrow all with a 15 minute gap between them. probably won't pass the first one. always a next semester.

how about you guys?

I had linear algebra this morning at 8, and then modern physics at 12. It's a safe bet that I failed linear algebra with flying colours, but I'm feeling pretty good about the physics exam. I think it went well.

I'm done until Monday.

I have five finals over the next week, not really worried about any of them. Compared to my high school, college is easy.

This has been a bad semester for me. I've had alot of outside crap going on. Next semester will be much better.

Same with me... I just wish I could take back the last semester and do it over again :(

I have a total of 4 finals so far I have taken two...Oral Communications and Calculus I, in Oral Comm. I got a 93 (A) and Calculus I got a 85 (B). I still have yet to take Political Science and Chemical Principles :(

I got a B on my final, so I was happy. Got an A in the class, even better

I had a final yesterday. I think I aced that one.

I have two finals on Friday: I'll BARELY pass my Physics one, but I'm feeling pretty confident about my Microecon final. I has another final on the 21st; Diff. Eq. I'll probably do pretty well in that one..

I had my 3 finals in the week before Thanksgiving.

I go to an Art School so things are a little screwy.

Drawing: A-

2-D Design: B-

Public Speaking: A+

Differential equations cause me to assume the fetal position. Doesn't help much in my classical mechanics class :p What physics are you taking?

i have a final on saturday, and a final on tuesday and that's it. :woot: i got off pretty light this semester. my other classes final grades were papers or presentations that i did a couple of weeks ago.

differential equations kinda suck balls. i know all my shnit in that course, but temistakes i make on the problems add up. i need at least a 150 on my final to pass. im failing statics like no tomorrow.

Bah...Gen. Physics...2170. It's my second time around. The first time I left about 60% into the course. My grades haven't improved much since last time... :( I think I'll finish with a C-. It's cool because I'm doing well in all my other courses...

That's not bad at all. I'm going to have to retake probably 2 classes from this semester, which is annoying. What do they teach you in general physics? You're not doing Newton's 2nd Law differentially, are you? (as in F= m (d2x/dt2) )

Whew...Hmmm..Newton's 2nd law stuff is probably from Chapter 5 in our book. All I can really remember is stuff from later in our course like, Ch. 14-17, like wave speeds, frequencies, strings, and harmonic motion.

As for that F, I can't really remember. I do remember the use of integrals to find Work done by using Force in unit vector notation bounded by position.

I thought F = m (dv/dt)

you guys are making my brain hurt.

im going to bed

It does, but since v is the first derivative of position (v = dx/dt) then acceleration is the second derivative of position (a = d2x/dt2).

That sounds like the class I took last semester... did you get to do a lab where you measured standing waves in a string? It was pretty cool, once you get it oscillating at the harmonic frequencies.

That's what college is for (at least in my experience!) :p

Good night.

I took my Medical Microbiology and Organic Chemistry finals yesterday and Mon. I have Environmental Microbiology on Fri.

Yeah, that's the same alright.

Well, since I'm an engineering student and engineering and chemistry lab courses are already required for my major, I wasn't required to take the lab section of the Physics course, so I didn't. I took a Chemistry lab a few years ago and I have a Engineering lab for next semester.

Medical Microbiology? That sounds cool. Organic Chem's pretty interesting, too.

I miss chem labs. Good luck on your finals.

My exams don't come up until January. I'm braced for the fall.
