Iron Man 2 How do you feel about all the footage released so far?

I'm going to watch this film no matter what because I enjoyed the first so much but the footage hasn't exactly wowed me. It doesn't look that much different from Iron Man 1. Maybe they're saving the coolest scenes for the actual movie?...that would be nice. However I have to admit, I'm not really amazed by anything. It seems entertaining but...yeah.

Also I'm disappointed they pulled a Spider-man 3 with WM. The suit basically looks like Iron Man is stuck in a 1930's black and white movie.

Most of the footage so far has been great. Not disappointed at all. War Machine & Black Widow look a lot better than I was expecting them to.

Everything looks pretty good so far... but like, I havent seen anything that I would **** my pants over. I think this movie will suffer from a lack of a good story

One thing I liked from the trailers is the humor...I cant complain about that. It looks like it will be on par or better than the first. Wiplash also looks really cool. But in a way, this film doesn't really feel that epic. Not that there is necessarily anything wrong with that...I just thought that with the world knowing he was Iron Man and war machine being used, this film would have a much bigger scope

Yeah, they look EXACTLY alike. Plus, thats the way it is in the damn comics.

As for the footage, I think it looks incredible. This is offcially the first film I've been THIS excited about since TDK. And that was 2 years ago.

I personally think that they havn't given away any of the big moments or pieces yet. perhaps a second of them but you simply cant judge a film based on all of this stuff.

Just like the first Iron Man, the trailers and TV spots were junk imo. didnt make out the film to be more than an ordinary action flick. I was actually skeptical seeing all the trailers for the first. The trailers for the second are really cliche and junky as well, but what footage we're seeing is a lot better.

Thinking about War machine and Black Widow being in this movie is epic enough for me. If you know and love War machine from the comics, then you shouldnt have any problems with his design or look. Obviously he is "basically like Iron Man" but black and silver. Always has been. Wtf were you expecting? lol. These characters are SPOT on.

I've enjoyed the released stuff; a little bit better than OK. The Comic-Con footage really got me hyped, but pretty much everything after that doesn't reach the same level. Nothing bad, but nothing to put me on the edge of my seat with anticipation either. Of course, I'll still be there opening night though.

The posters have been a bit underwhelming ...outside of the Black Widow one, but that's for reasons entirely separate from the film.

War Machine always looked like a black and white Iron Man. Unless you were expecting them to go with this outfit?

So far, so good! The second trailer has some great moments, and that suitcase armor scene really does it for me! I can not wait!

And isn't the War Machine armor based on Iron Man's Stealth Armor - so they should look similar. It's all good, keep it coming! I am hoping there is a second look for Whiplash, too!

No offense,but you said the Warm Machine suit looks like Iron Man is in a 1930's black and white movie,and yet you're suggesting that War Machine's suit should look black and white. I know it's War Machine,but ya know?

I don't know if it's just me but I'm not impressed with the footage or the movie in general...I'm still excited to see it bc it's Iron Man 2 and I loved Iron Man but I remember Favereau was complaining about the release date being set before the script was written and he said it wasn't enough time...then they hire a screenwriter that wasn't in on the first one...I don't really like the story or the villain and to me the movie looks like it won't live up to Iron Man 1....they should of done what TDK did and used the best villain Iron Man had for number 2 and carried it over to Iron Man 3 and had Whiplash as a side villain....I'm just not very impressed with Iron Man 2 at all...regardless of quality I think it will be a smash at the box office but will ultimately dissapoint the true fans of Iron Man...sadly I don't think anyone cares as long as it makes money...

When you squeeze in a silly comment comparing War Machine being a black and white Iron Man like he is in the comics to the Spider-Man 3 treatment, people are going to call you out on it.

I actually like that their setting up the Mandarin as the villain for IM3.

Now as far as story goes I think it's logical that this is where the story goes leading up to Avengers and not only that but the iron man movievese storyline.

After announcing that he is IM in the first movie the goverment wants his suits too use for warfare and Tony needs too learn that he needs allies.

Also whats gonna make whiplash a great villain is that it's classic sins of the father we have a villain who has a very personal grudge against our hero.

He doesn't want too takeover the world all he wants is Tony Stark dead and the Stark legacy too end Ivan thinks that the Stark family took what he thinks is rightfully his.

Anyway thats just my opinion not judging anyone's else's opinion but I truly don't think we have anything too worry about.

Even though TDK was pretty good, I gotta think they sort of shot themselves in the foot by using Batman's biggest enemy so early in the series. Now it's like BB3 has nowhere to go but down from the plateau of TDK. The IM franchise however still has the best villains(Mandarin, Madame Masque, Ghost, etc.) still ready to use. I think all the stuff we've seen so far is balls out awesomeness. This is the most anticipated movie for me since IM1(which was my most anticipated movie ever).

While I'm definitely looking forward to the flick, I admit, nothing has blown me away like the Superbowl spot of the first one where he blows up the tank. It's awesome to see WM but the action looks pretty standard. The only thing that made me mark out was the briefcase armor.
