how do you get tickets so early?!

ahh gee. i want to know how to get tickets about 2-3 weeks b4 for the 12am screening in my area. i called the harkins theatres here and they said to wait a week before the movie shows and i know ppl are going to pack this theatre for the tickets. and might i add that i remember people getting superman returns tickets a MONTH before it even showed. this is madness....(this is sparta!! jk jk) but i really want some early tickets for me and my girlfriend.

only advice I can give is to buy them online or wait until 2 weeks before spiderman 3 opens and buy them in adavance. I wouldn't trust the people at your theater. just wait until the time gets closer and see what happens. i bet they'll have tickets in advance.

I guess it depends which theater you buy the tickets from, I know my local regel lets you pick up tickets a month in advance, which is what I'll be doing, you could always try and buy them on fandago if need be.

Besides the IMAX tickets... does anyone know what date the tickets go on sale for normal theaters?

Check movietickets.com or fandango.com for theaters in your area. I was just on there yesterday and SM3 hasn't gone on sale yet...but it won't be long!
