So it's Memorial Day, the official start to the barbecuing season, I just wonder for all my fellow burger lovers out there, exactly how do you like yours?

For me, I like it medium rare to keep it juicy, some lettuce, some onion, a slice of cheddar and on a good Sesame seed bun. Pickles on the side. My mouth is watering just typing that LOL.

Damn Shinobi those look amazing!

Looks like I'm firing up Skip The Dishes for lunch today :IL:

Just medium for me with a slice of American cheese and ketchup on a sesame bun. This is definitely an unpopular opinion but I can live with or without cheese on a burger but I gotta have my ketchup.

prefer medium with white american, or pepperjack cheese.
lettuce, ketchup, Duke's Mayo, crisp pickles or no pickles, or a nice bun.

mushrooms are a nice bonus but not a requirement

Medium. With American cheese, fried jalapeños, onions, and chipotle mayo. I also like a little pork belly on top.

Then I like to dip it as I eat it in a mixture of ketchup and hot sauce. My two go-to hot sauces are either Calamity Pain or Yippie Cayenne Mother Pepper.

ive never heard of those sauces, but those are great names

Oh man, that sounds f’ing amazing.

Regular burgers, nothing too fancy - the most basic patties you can find in the store/market.

Mayo, mustard and ketchup. Maybe a slice or two of tomato. Maybe some lettuce.

With an ice-cold Coca-Cola.

Me too.....simple.

Sliced raw onion, tomato, dill pickle slices, bacon, cheese, avocado, mustard, mayo, and lettuce.

Beer.

I heard some people put peanut butter on hamburgers.....that might be worse than pineapple on pizza.

Totally down with jalapenos, serranos, or hatch. In fact, hatch peppers make a KILLER chiles rellenos dish. It's a pain in the ass to make, but I will give the family recipe to anyone who requests it.

By that logic then hot dogs are also burgers?
since going vegan I have come to redefine what I consider a "Burger"
I still got many options...
Veggie patty Burger
Black-bean Burger
Impossible Burger
Beyond Burger
"Chick'n" patty
even Falafel can be served as Burger if shaped into a patty/put on a {round}bun

my preference would probably be the Impossible when I can find them
(but, when out to eat you take what ever option they have available)

as for toppings I'm usually just a standard lettuce and tomato, guy
(maybe occasionally pickles)

I'll give you a weird one that I'v been doing when just making "Burger" at home lately
instead of lettuce I been using roasted seaweed...

(gives you that same extra green nutrition an a little crisp, that you normally get from lettuce, but a little less messy and doesn't make the bun soggy) then still a {vegan} cheese slice {melted on} an a tomato slice

lettuce goes bad too fast (to try to keep around the house)

if we are talking non-meat burgers, Boca is probably the brand i've liked the best that i've tried so far. they used to have a pizza burger that i really liked, but haven't seen in a long time
