I've always pronounced it as Fal-cone (as in ice cream cone) but then in the movie they pronounce it Falconey (as in Coney Island) but that's wrong unless it was spelled in the script as Falconey.

forgive me if it's already been debated already.

It's italian, so it's supposed to be pronounced "Fal-CO-ney", just like "Carmine" should actually be pronounced "Car-MEE-ney" and not "CAR-mine"

In Italian all letters are pronounced (except "h") so most words with "e" on the end finish with an "ey" and the second to last syllable is almost always emphasized (with a few exceptions).

can-NOL-li, pro-SCIU-tto, staz-ION-e(y) :)

Wrong. It is pronounced CAR-mine.

Certain names/words have different pronunciations then others.

Its not like Sly's last name is pronounced sta-LONEY, its just Sta-lone.

It matters on the family/name, different pronunciations for different words.
