It is. The bro in law has the computer either hooked to the tv...or it's a big computer monitor, LCD type, cause they watch tv on it and at times it has the PC stuff on it.
You mean watch tv on your computer and not the computer on the tv? Windows 7 has windows media center built in. If you are in the UK, Windows 7 will have skyplayer built into it for streaming tv via the net, otherwise you will probably need to use a tv tuner (which are incredibly cheap and just plug in with a USB port). Just click start button at the bottom left, type in "windows media center" at the search bar and click on it. It will also download tv guides and stuff.
You can also pin it by dragging it to the bar next to the start menu, it's what I do.
I think your thinking of a...TV Turner Card? I had one back in the day (Early 2K) and it worked fantastic. Most are USB now, but here is a link to NewEgg that might help ya out a little bit.
