How Is Marvel Able To Secure Such AWESOME Casting?

I looked for another place to throw this thread, but I can't find a better one.

Anyway, do they have a professional team of lobbyists? RDJ, Paltrow, Terrence Howard, Edward Norton, Jessica Biel.. And that's just for TWO movies. It's insane. I wonder what they're offering that actors are finding it so appealing.

It is incredible casting for the most part but it may be that they find the roles intriguing plus aren't most of the actors parents and as such may be they are also doing it for their kids (portraying a super hero).

A lot of top actors are comic book/superhero fans. And Marvel is well-connected at this point.

And part of the reasons these comic characters endure are because they are good, defined characters and concepts. Tom Jane really threw himself into the role of Punisher.

If Biel is going to play Betty Ross, I just don't really see her matching up very well against Norton.

Check out this excellent movie and you'll change your tune. Biel can act.

just look at the cast for Iron Man and now The Incredible Hulk, not to mention they didnt do too bad for Spiderman and The X-Men. Marvel has a way of attracting high-caliber actors. the only other time its ever happened to DC is for Batman Begins, Batman '89 and Batman Returns.

i'm not knockin' Superman Returns, but among the cast members there, the only actors of note is Kevin Spacey and Frank Langella (which is even a small part). Eva Marie Saint doesnt really count since she's not that active in film anymore.

i think every movie has bad actors and good actors.
you could find also in marvel movies actors that dont fit in.

and marvel made more movies than dc.

hopefully good stories.other then that i dunno why some of them might be interested.Downy hasnt down anything for awhile and i know he loves to act and I think the chracters right up his ally so it makes sense.gwenth im not sure.biel isnt anything special.
