I saw it once - it sucked - I did not go see it again (nor will I). You realize if this were not X-Men and it sucked, no one on this site would bother with the second viewing.

yes...but it was X-men and, IMO, it didn't suck, thought it was great...

every friggen thread where people want to talk about enjoying the movie there are a few of you knuckle heads coming in to just say "IT SUCKED"...
it so easy to go around just saying "IT SUCKED" as if it were fact...it's happening alot around here, and it's really stupid.

and i've seen it twice...going again tomorrow and at least 2 times more after that in the near future.

I've seen it twice. The 2nd viewing wasn't any better or worse. I thought the cast did good, and Brett did great. The visuals were nice, and the Xavier/Phoenix battle was my favorite scene in the trilogy ever. As a whole, it has its great parts, and it's bad parts...I'm not a fan of the script for the most part. :o

Ummm the people who think it sucked give good reasons for think it sucked...you should try reading my posts that go on and on about plot holes, poor character development, character misuse, lack of consistency, lack of use of characters, things that don't make sense...etc. I did not say it sucked as if it were fact, reread the post. I said "IF you saw X3 AND it sucked"...not X3, it sucked. The "IF" and "AND" denotes the possibility of the other. You may like X3, but unfortunately I hear a lot more people talking about how the critics are wrong (of which about 50% hated the movie, and most were lukewarm, and on IMDb 7 pages I read were all bad reviews...and on this site I remember we had a poll that noted resoundingly this was the worst of the three) and this movie was great but cannot list one thing aside from pyrotechnics that make this movie anything but an extended trailer.

once. Different friends wanted to see it yesterday, but its not worth another 10 bucks.

I've read your posts...i agree with some points and others i find to be nit-picky.

but just because you have stated your opinion in a few threads...doesn't mean you should go around posting "it sucked" in all the other ones...that IS posting it as if it were fact.

maybe if you sayd "IMO it sucked" i wouldn't give a ****...but it's annoying as anything when you go into a thread wanting to talk about what you enjoyed or did not enjoy and there are just people going around making snide comments at every turn with nothing to back it up but "it sucked"

Exactly. People here keep saying "it gets better the second time" or "I watched it again, it sucked both times" or "It sucked once maybe I'll see it again" or "you know I finally got used to the pacing". If you hated it DON'T SEE IT TWICE. You guys only encourage FOX and MARVEL to make more of this crap (IYO). Meanwhile Batman Begins, which is how these films ought to be handled, makes 44 mil in a weekend(made quiet a bit all in all though), Sin City made only 38. That sends a message to movie producers, make me crappy movies that don't require any thought and are all action. How many more Elektra's (IMO--actually its not Elektra bad) do we want here folks.

once. Even though I hated it i'm giving it a second chance and im going to see it next weekend

well then...to your point...shouldn't Elektra have been a cash cow

Actually I withdraw that, ain't no way its Elektra bad, FF bad would have been a better comparison or T3 bad....but Elektra, alright that taking it too far.

Just once... :(

But I'm definitely seeing it again this weekend. :)

don't you think you might be acting just a little jerkish...even a little bit? come on man.

your point was that horrible movies make are making more money than better movies...and to an extent i agree...but a movie doesn't have to be amazing to be entertaining...which i would think is the point of a movie. and this X3 is most definitely entertaining if you can get past being a comic book purist/snob.

sure...FF wasn't a really as good as it should have been...but i found if fun, humorous, and entertaining (asides from Dr. Doom's protrail..."Marco Polo"...yeash)...and that is were the profit is coming from.

Twice so far. Second time I focused on some of the cameos like Psylocke's camouflage and 'magma man' spitting lava.

Biggest laugh for the audience in my first viewing went to Wolverine's 'grow those back' when Wolverine took out the man growing limbs. Biggest laugh when i saw it second time went to the woman on the bridge pushing down the lock on the car door.

Off to see it again next week!

It should be though. Its my money I am spending, I ought to be getting what I pay for.

And Batman Begins and Spider-Man don't exactly follow the comic, neither does X1 and X2 (at all really) but I enjoy them because they don't trample all over the characters and at the end of the day they are excellent movies whether or not they resemble the comic. Take away X-Men and everyone here would hate this movie.

I hear alot of mixed reviews on the movie (havnt seen it yet going later tonight) but i was wondering if there were this many mixed reviews for x-2?????

if you didnt like the movie why are u still in the the last stand boards?
doesnt make sense to me.
all u have left to do here, is go through every thread and say it sucked, it sucked.

ive seen it twice, plan on a few more outings with various teammates.

I've only seen it once, but I will see it again, most definitely.

I have saw i three times and ill probably go again.
I thought the film was brilliant. the final showdown was spectacular and it was a good enough story for me. the bigeest problem I have is when people complain about it not being close to the comic books or certain story lines dont match with the comic book versions. WHO CARES?

Its a film not a comic book, i couldnt care less if it didnt match the comic book, I went to see it as a film and enjoyed it as a film.

secondly why do people find it was rubbish and go again. obviously you have the right to say it sucked, but why go again just to see how bad it really sucked. thats just a waste of your money.

Becasue Like you, I have the right to state my own opinion. that is what a forum is about, NO?

I have'nt once said the movie sucked. Did I think it was a good movie? No.
