I haven't kept track but I buy about 2 or 3, maybe, comics per week. And occassionally a graphic novel for 15 dollars.
Can't wait till I can claim them as a right off on my taxes, professional comic artists and animators can do that because they use them for their work.

Right now I'm probably averaging about $75 a month, which is way more than the last few years, or since I started collecting comics again during my second year or so of college. Some months have more than others, like this one when I've been catchin' up on INVINCIBLE.

I've cut down to around 20-35 a month and plan on keeping it that way for a while

hmmm... I buy about 25 a month...will likely go down after Civil War unless something at DC catches my eye....not sure how much it costs...goes directly on my visa and that's paid online....I would surmise from $100-125 range

If i stick to only my pull list i spend about 200 a month. Often I pick up the odd minis/single issues to see how a title is or to follow a single arc. When I do that I get up to about 275.

... I cant really complain about the costs though cause my comic collection is worth about the same as my house. I inherited my dad's collection and i've been collecting all my life. I look at it like any other necessary expense. Food, shelter, gas, electricity, comics...

I just spent around 30 at my store today, on a slow week. I have all my comic reciepts from when I started collecting again, and theres only been a handful that were under 20. Mostly they're in the 35-50$ range, per WEEK.
