As greedy as it may sound, how much money do you think would be enough to truly satisfy you?

Now, a lot of famous people have almost more than 10 million dollars; but I would think that the average joe would be happy with something in the $10,000 to $100,000 range.

I'm something of a spendaholic so I doubt any amount would do the trick.

If anyone here would like to give me large sums of money so we can find out though I would be happy to participate in such an experiment :D

There's no such thing as too much or enough money. The people who talk about too much money are usually the ones referring to other people's earnings and never their own.

I need enough for mortgage, bills, food, and clothes. Then I need about 500 a month for play money or savings.

I think most Americans are trained to want much more than they need. It's sad people can't be satisfied with the basics. Many more people would be happy.

I have enough money.

The bills are paid and food is always on the table. I have enough left over for my hobbies. I have everything I need and want, why should I want more? Because the idiot box says so? Please. As long as there's people starving and homeless I'll always be grateful for what I have instead of craving more.

People are brain washed to be greedy from infancy.

This.

Hooray for the homeless! :awesome:

Enough to pay off a house and keep a safe stocked with repair money. Also, enough to buy some Kenyans for my combination octopus/komodo dragon farm.:awesome:

With more you can do more. That's my thing hey... It's just the way you look at it.

I need whatever the total amount listed on this thread is times two.

How much would it cost to terraform Mars, build a city on it, and then live there?

Good answer.

I was also going to say, "The world is not enough."

I have so many questions.

- Are they hybrid octopus/komodo dragons?
- Are the Kenyans there to work or to be fed to the komodo dragopus population?
- I have only two questions.

Yas they are hybrids for my Nolanized-Cthulhu program! The Kenyans are there to make me feel good about myself for helping disadvantaged peoples.:awesome:

I'd rather do away with money and change to a barter system. My cow's leg for your wooden cart. Fair trade.

Then what do I do with my Kenyans and Nolanized cthulhu spawn?

I just want enough to live in a modest home, comfortably, and never to have to worry about bills. Ever.

Yeah, no matter how much or how little I had I'd have a fairly low-key home as well.

Those big opulent mansions are always haunted. The last thing I need is three college kids and a stoner who talks to his dog turning up on my doorstep at three in the morning so they can beat up my creepy butler in a Halloween costume

Exactly. I made my first million by the time I was 22. It's a lot better having the means to do what I want when I want. It's that simple. I lived in Italy for 6 months because I liked Florence, I lived in Japan for almost a year because that's where the headquarters of my Karate organization is. If I wanna see go to the summer metal festivals all over Europe I do, and have.

I simply want enough money to move out on my on with my boyfriend and live comfortably without worrying about paying bills and eating.

Um, 100 million. But 90% of that would go towards producing movies. With budgets of 1-10 million.

I think I could live the rest of my life off of 2 million dollars.

I wouldn't be living like a baller, but I wouldn't have a job. I'd just be chilling, working out, and playing XBox.

Costco would factor big in this scenario.

Doublie post?! I only clicked once.

As long as I have enough for beer and cigarettes I'm happy as a clam. I wouldn't mind a bank account with $1,000,000,000 though, I'd be giving $100 to every homeless person I see hahah.

There's really no such thing as "enough" money unless you're content with covering the bases.
